Other cushion retailers sell fabrics that are only fade resistant for up to 500 UV hours while here at Outdoor Interiors, our outdoor cushion range are made with Sunbrella fabrics which are proven to be high quality, easy cleaning, long lasting and will stand the test of time. All of our outdoor cushions are made here in Australia. Our high quality handmade outdoor two-tone Chenille throws are also made from Sunbrella yarn, making them fade resistant whilst also being machine washable.
Our new outdoor homewares range include fade resistant and water resistant outdoor scatter cushions and floor cushions and fade resistant outdoor throws.
Why Sunbrella Fabric?
Some other outdoor fabrics are only coated with a UV resistant coating, allowing for up to 500 hours of sunlight before they begin to fade. The Sunbrella fabrics used for our outdoor cushions range is 100 percent solution-dyed acrylic yarns. Solution-dying is the process of adding colour to acrylic fibres during manufacturing while they are still in a liquid state. This characteristic of Sunbrella fabrics is the key to locking in colour, easy cleaning and long life and is why we use these fabrics for our outdoor cushion range home inspection baltimore maryland.
